1. Overview

This Warranty Policy outlines the terms, coverage limitations, and claim procedures for industrial, agricultural, water treatment, and mining chemical supplies and associated containment materials provided by EcoBio Chemicals.

Given the specialized and hazardous nature of industrial chemical compounds, our warranty ensures adherence to strict quality control standards, chemical purity grades, and regulatory compliance.

2. Product Purity and Quality Guarantee

  • Certificates of Analysis (CoA): EcoBio Chemicals guarantees that every chemical batch supplied conforms strictly to the chemical purity grades and analytical parameters stated in the accompanying official Certificate of Analysis (CoA).

  • Manufacturing Standards: All products are sourced, packaged, and distributed in compliance with rigorous industry standards and multimodal transport safety mandates (such as UN-certified heavy metal containment standards).

3. Warranty Coverage Limitations

Our product warranty is subject to strict commercial and operational conditions:

  • Pre-Use Inspection: Clients must inspect all chemical shipments, packaging seals, and documentation immediately upon delivery in accordance with our Shipping Policy.

  • Exclusions: The warranty does not cover product degradation, contamination, or failure resulting from improper storage, unauthorized blending, failure to follow Safety Data Sheet (SDS/MSDS) guidelines, or misuse by the client or third-party handlers.

  • B2B Application: Warranties apply strictly to commercial and industrial operations and do not cover secondary resale or consumer-level usage.

4. Warranty Claims Procedure

If a product fails to meet the specifications outlined in the Certificate of Analysis (CoA) or arrives damaged due to logistics failure:

  • Notification Window: Claims must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of delivery to info@ecobiochemicals.co.za.

  • Required Documentation: Claims must include the original tax invoice number, batch/lot number, a detailed description of the issue, photographic evidence of packaging or product condition, and the original Certificate of Analysis.

  • Inspection and Testing: Returned chemical samples or containers may be subjected to laboratory verification to validate the claim before any replacement or credit is authorized.

5. Remedies

If a warranty claim is verified and accepted by EcoBio Chemicals, our liability is strictly limited to, at our sole discretion:

  • The replacement of the non-conforming chemical batch or damaged containment unit at no additional cost; or

  • The issuance of a credit note or refund corresponding to the purchase value of the affected product.
